Why customers call us

Common Installation problems we solve

Old unit failing — time to replace

Over 10 years with repairs piling up? We size and install a modern R32 system sized for your rooms.

New home or BTO handover

First install done right: BCA-compliant brackets, correct BTU sizing per room, and a pressure-tested refrigerant circuit.

Electricity bill spiking

Wrong system size short-cycles and wastes energy. We size to BTU per square metre, not guesswork.

Adding a room or renovation

One or two extra indoor units needed? We check the outdoor unit's remaining capacity before quoting.

What's included in Installation

A poorly installed aircon costs you twice: once in your bill, again in the early repair. We size the system to the room (BTU per square metre, System 1–5 configurations for typical HDB and condo layouts), install BCA-compliant stainless steel brackets, slope the drainage line correctly, and pressure-test the refrigerant lines before handover. Pricing starts around $600 for a basic single-unit install, averages $3,350 for a standard multi-split, and reaches ~$5,912 for full central systems with ductwork.

Installation demonstration

Are you planning a new aircon installation to escape the humid Singapore heat?

Choosing the right setup can feel overwhelming for many homeowners. Our team understands how crucial a proper cooling system is for your family’s comfort.

Getting it right the first time saves you money and endless frustration down the road. We are going to walk through the exact steps you need, so you can make the best choice.

Sizing the system correctly

A poorly sized aircon costs you twice. An oversized unit short-cycles and wastes energy, while an undersized unit runs continuously and wears out much faster.

We always tell clients to look beyond just the floor area. The standard Singapore HDB ceiling height is around 2.6 metres, but higher ceilings demand extra cooling power.

Our calculations show that every person in a room adds about 300 BTUs of heat per hour. Adding just two people to a room significantly changes the required capacity.

We measure these hidden factors during the site survey. A bedroom with morning sun or large windows needs more capacity than a shaded, north-facing room of the exact same size.

Standard Layout Patterns

For typical Singapore HDB and condo layouts, the setup pattern is very consistent. Our installers see these specific arrangements every single day.

  • 3-room HDB / 600 sqft condo: System 2 (one outdoor, two indoor, usually living room and master bedroom)
  • 4-room HDB / 900 sqft condo: System 3 (one outdoor, three indoor)
  • 5-room HDB / 1,200 sqft condo: System 4 (one outdoor, four indoor)
  • Executive Condo / landed: System 5 or multiple System 3s depending on layout
  • Landed houses with multiple zones: Multi-split or VRV/VRF

What goes into a proper aircon installation

A proper aircon installation includes more than just bolting the unit to the wall. We ensure every technical detail meets strict local safety standards.

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) requires trained installers for a reason. Homeowners actually face fines of up to $5,000 for improper bracket installations in HDB flats.

Our team focuses heavily on these critical safety and performance steps.

  • BCA-compliant stainless steel ledge bracket: Current standards require these for outdoor units on HDB ledges. We specifically recommend Grade SS316 stainless steel for coastal areas like Marine Parade to prevent salt corrosion.
  • Drainage slope and sizing: We create at least a 1:100 fall toward the drain pipe so water never pools. Upgrading to a larger 16mm drainage pipe drastically reduces your chances of future clogs.
  • Pipe insulation: Full lagging on copper lines is essential to prevent condensation and energy loss. Our technicians use thick 1/2-inch insulation to completely stop the pipes from sweating in Singapore’s humidity.
  • Refrigerant vacuum and pressure test: This process pulls air and moisture from the lines. The system is then pressure-tested for leaks before charging.
  • Correct refrigerant charge: The gas is strictly weighed to the exact manufacturer specification instead of just being eyeballed.
  • Electrical isolation: A dedicated isolator switch is installed for safe maintenance.

Skipping any of these steps leads to guaranteed consequences within two to three years. We see premature breakdowns all the time from rushed jobs.

Proper execution is the only way to protect your investment.

Cost ranges by system type

Singapore pricing depends heavily on the specific equipment and the complexity of the piping route. Our quotes reflect fair market rates for 2026.

A 5-tick energy efficiency model, like the popular Daikin iSmileEco series, will sit at the higher end of these estimates. We always remind customers that the massive electricity savings make the initial cost worthwhile.

Installation — common questions

How do I know what system size I need?

We size to BTU per square metre. A typical 3-room HDB needs a System 2 (one outdoor, two indoor); a 4-room is usually System 3. For condos and larger flats, we measure during site survey.

What does basic installation include?

BCA-compliant bracket, indoor and outdoor mounting, copper piping (up to standard length), drainage line slope, refrigerant charge, vacuum pressure test, and commissioning. Extra piping length quoted by the metre.

Do you provide the unit, or do I buy separately?

You can buy the unit yourself (we install brand-neutrally), or we'll source it for you at trade rates. No commission games either way.

How long does installation take?

Single-unit window or split: half a day. Standard multi-split (System 2–4): one day. Full central or ducted with ductwork: 2–3 days including commissioning.

What warranty do you offer?

12-month workmanship warranty on the install. Brand parts retain their manufacturer warranty separately (typically 5 years for compressor, 1 year for other parts).

Can you install in a high-floor condo?

Yes — we do high-floor installs daily. We may need management approval for outdoor work and gondola access for some properties; we handle the paperwork.
